Ribbon Drawer

A few Saturdays ago during our Neighborhood cleanup, my friend and I were out running and we came across these so we took all three of them. I had remembered seeing a ribbon drewer like this on Blue Cricket design so I took her idea and made my own and I LOVE it!

Jam

I made my Jam today and I am so excited to have some. I was really surprised how EASY it was, why do more people not make Jam.

Clutch

I love this clutch I think it is absolutely adorable. For a Celebration of MOM and WOMEN Dana Made and Ruffles and stuff have teamed up and are Celebrating US. This is one of the many projects they and many other amazingly creative women are coming up with. Here is a tutorial so you can make yourself or someone you love one.

Okay this is for ME

Disney from Ruffles and stuff is my type of girl. I LOVE flowers and Ruffles almost as much as she does and she has made herself the cutest skirt that I really want to try out for myself. It has the t-shirt waist band which makes it so much easier then elastic and it looks better and I guess you could wear it pregnant. I need to get myself and my sewing room organized so I can get sewing once again.

Yes Lucy already has way to many dresses and skirts but I am constantly seeing new styles and patterns that I just have to try out to see if I like them or not. Here are a couple I want to try.

The Itty Bitty Baby Dress and it's free a pattern from Made by Rae

This Summer vacation dress from Dana Made. It is $6 on her blog.
This Adorable Market Shirt also from Dana Made. It is so simple but so fun, I love the pockets.

I obviously love Dana because this from her blog as well it is the Shirt Dress made from a man's dress shirt. So clever.

Hopefully for next summer

How cute is this Maternity Skirt by kojo designs. Although I am not pregnant and am not going to be for a while I had to post this so I can revert back to it for when I get pregnant next. I love the simplicity, but frilly girlishness of it, and the easy t-shirt waist band. So cute for that awkward stage when you don't fit into your skinny clothes but your maternity clothes are to big. Adorable.

Rosette

I made the Rosette from the Pearl Bee blog and I actually think it is adorable, a little big but very cute. It is just a little diffrent then all my other flowers that I have.

I made this one as well with a smaller clip and just cut out five little cirles and placed them on the clip and added a little button for an extra little detail.

Maybe next year...

There were a few things that I just didn't get around to doing this year for Easter, so hopefully next year. I am not sure why but I thought these rice eggs were kind of cute over at MADE. I thought they might be cute outside on our little tree.

I have never grown Easter grass but I really want to and I think my kids would love it.
Simply just dying Easter eggs. I am pathetic
This green Easter rice is so cute.
Check out Make and Take for tutorial or tips on any of these.

Ruffle dress

My husband has been studing for the G-mat so since I could'nt have the TV on one night I decided to try this out. I like the way it turned out. It was a complete experiment but it worked out cute. I just used one of my old shirts and one of L's stained onesies. It was quick and easy.
I bought L those shoes that squeak last summer for a really good deal and I put them on her the other day and we both hate them. She takes like two steps then without fail sits down and takes them off. And I just think they are ANNOYING. Luckily they have plugs because the actual shoes themselves are cute. Hence the picture.

Bird Ornaments

I have a Spring Tree that I absolutly LOVE, I got it at Potterybarn Kids 2 years ago. I have easter eggs hanging from it right now, but now that Easter is over how much longer can I keep up Easter???? I saw these on the Purl Bee as a Christmas Ormanent, but I think they would be so cute in some fun spring/summer colors on my tree.

Ribbon Clips

I love the ways these ribbon clips turned out. They are SO easy but very cute. I cut my ribbon about 12 inches long and then I just hand stitched along one side and pulled it tight to form a circle. Tie it off. Get a cute brad and there you go.

Clip Board

So my daughter has way to many hair clips that I needed to make her a new larger clip board. I got this frame at the DI for 4$ and just kinda made it up as I went.
I got these red mardi-gra beads, glued them on the outside of the board spray painted it white.

And Wala!!! I really like the way it turned out.

I left the beads pink and I thought it was really cute that way.
