Bunting

So I made my first bunting out of oilcloth and I really like the way it turned out. It was so much easier then I thought it would be, and oilcloth was really easy to work with.
I do love the bright colors, perfect for a summer BBQ.(yes I do realize it is beginning to look like fall, so I have it ready for next summer.)

Cutest darn skirt

I love this skirt!!! I think I love it so much because it would be cuter on a little older girl than a little toddler. I feel like sometime clothes are so fun to make for my 2 year old and wonder if they will still be fun to make when she is 8 or 10 (I probably at that point have time to make anything ever anymore, but I can dream) but this skirt lets me know that it will always be fun to sew for my daughter. Check out no big dill
and see for yourself how amazing she is with all her cute daughters.

The Dress

So I made Lucy one of these dresses about 6 months ago but then I just put it in my bin of clothes and never really thought about it again. Well my sister was over the other day looking at my stash and commented on the dress and said it was really cute so I decided I should at least try it on her and to my my surprise I loved it!! So I quickly make her 2 more. I love the long length of it, and i feel like I can dress it up for Church ( with her amazing jewlery), or wear it for play.

Have you met.....

...my new baby!! she has no name, but is loved beyond measure. I bought her on KSL a couple days before I left on a big road trip in August and it was killing me, all I wanted to do was serge something. It has been well loved and makes it so much faster to make things and gives my clothes a more profesional look. I love it!!!

Ironing Board

My ironing baord was driving me nuts with how dirty and gross it was, and the hole didn't help either. So I decided it had to go. Here is the new and very much improved ironing board. It was so easy to make all I did was lay the fabric on the board and cut aroud the edge about and extra 3 inches. I then hemed it all the way around and put in some elastic.

LOVE this!!!

I love this Jumper from MADE, I think she made it years ago but it is so adorable. I have some brown corduroy material that I need something to with and this might be the perfect piece. There is no tutorial, but I am hoping that I can just make up my own. Go here for more pictures.

On the Road Crafts.....

Middle of August I went to Missiouri with my Parents and 2 of my sisters to stay at my parents cabin and to see the church sites. We all drove out there with no husbands and with all our kids in our cars, we had 12 kids total. The rule was that we had to have the kids in bed at 8:30 so that we could have some adult time. It was fabulous we watched the new Emma which i do love and North and South which is another favorite of mine. We also did some crafing. I made Lucy these 2 hats for fun, yes she does not need them but oh well she is just going to have to wear a hat everyday this winter. I do love both these color combo's

As if my daughter needs another hair clip, but they are fun to make and it is so fun to be creative and to do something new and a little unique. And they can make great baby gifts.

I love this one with the zipper, it is just diffrent.

Plain and Simple, with a vintage look.

I saw headband like this at target, tried it on and was putting in my shopping until I saw the price tag! 10$... so needless to say it when back onthe display rack and I went to walmart and got some zipper and wala. I already had the headband and the zipper only cost 2$ and I only used half of the zipper so I can make another one. I was quite pleased with my self.

Holiday Pillows?

What do you think about Holiday/decorative pillows? I think they can be aborable, these one I love, but I am just not sure how practical they are but the kids would think they are fun. Go here for the Tutorail. In the tutorail she uses paint, but I would probably use some of my cute Halloween fabric.
